E1 - EEPROM error
  • Shut off the power supply and turn it on 5 seconds later. Is it still displaying the error code?
    • Yes
      In the indoor unit, an EEPROM chip is connected on the Main PC Board. Is the EEPROM chip securely on the Main PC Board?
      • Yes

        Replace the indoor main PC Board. - if you need further assistance please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

      • No

        Correct the connection. - if you need further assistance please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

    • No

E2 - Zero crossing signal detection error
  • Check if the connections and power supply is normal.
    • Yes

      Indoor main PC Board is damaged. Replace the indoor main PC Board. - if further assistance is needed please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

    • No

      Correct the connections. Turn on the unit when the power supply is stable. - if further assistance is needed please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

E3 - Indoor fan speed has been out of control
  • Shut the power off. Then turn the unit on 2 minutes later. Does the error still appear?
    • Yes
      Shut off the power supply and rotate the fan by hand. Is the fan rotating normally?
      • Yes
        Check the wires of fan motor. Are all the connections good?
        • Yes
          Turn the unit on to standby mode. Measure the voltage for the fan motor from the main indoor PC Board. For 220V Pin1 to Pin3 = 200V~380V Pin 4 to Pin 3 = 14V~17.5V For 110V Pin1 to Pin3 = 140V~190V Pin 4 to Pin 3 = 14V~17.5V Are the measures within range?
          • Yes
            Replace the fan motor. No Has the issue been resolved?
            • Yes

            Turn the power on and set the unit as running in high speed mode. 15 seconds later, measure the pin voltage from Pin1 to Pin2 in fan motor connector. Is the value of the voltage is less than: 100V for 208~230 power supply 50V for 115V power supply

E5 - Indoor room temperature sensor T1 open circuit or short circuit
  • Check the connections between temperature sensor and main PC Board. Are the connections secure?
    • Yes
      Measure the resistance value of the sensors. Is the resistance value correct?
      • Yes

        Replace the sensor and check if the problem happens again - if further assistance is needed please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

    • No

E6 - Evaporator coil temperature sensor T2 open circuit or short circuit
  • Check the connections between temperature sensor and main PC Board. Are the connections secure?
    • Yes
      Measure the resistance value of the sensors. Is the resistance value correct?
      • Yes

        Replace indoor main PC Board. - if further assistance is needed please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

      • No

        Replace the sensor and check if the problem happens again - if further assistance is needed please contact Innovair Customer Support - info@innovair.com

    • No

EC - Refrigerant leak detection error
  • Shut the power off. Then turn the unit on 2 minutes later. Does the error still appear?
    • Yes
      After 20 minutes, is cold air blowing out of the indoor unit?
      • Yes
        Check if the evaporator sensor is connected well and the resistance value is normal. Is the evaporator sensor normal?
        • Yes

        Is there a leakage in the system?
